EON TouchLight makes it possible for you to interact with your digital data using your bare hands. Images, movies and high resolution interactive 3D products and environments can be zoomed, panned and rotated with both hands seamlessly thus replicating the natural way we interact in the real world. EON TouchLight uses image processing techniques to combine the output of two video cameras placed behind a semi-transparent plane in front of the user. The resulting image shows 3D objects that appear to float in space. In addition, a special projection screen material is used which permits projection onto a transparent display in normal indoor lighting conditions. EON TouchLight provides a high bandwidth input/output surface suitable for gesture-based interaction. Users can interact with 3D objects either by touching the screen or moving their hands at a comfortable distance. This product allows manipulation of 3D objects by using optical flow techniques and it combines a number of special features such as interaction by tapping the screen, capturing of high resolution images etc.
